Tomorrow Makers Advisors

Eugene Eric Kim, founder and Executive Director of Blue Oxen Associates, a think tank devoted to improving collaboration and knowledge management, works with and advises us on ways to use technology to enhance existing collaborative practices as well as invent and create new ones. Over the years we've known him, Eugene and Blue Oxen have provided Tomorrow Makers  with a wealth of ideas and solutions to the challenges of remote and asynchronous collaboration.

Dr. Debora Hammond, Ph.D., Associate Professor of Interdisciplinary Studies in the Hutchins School of Liberal Studies, brings a deep knowledge of both the history and leading edge applications of systems theory, as well as ecological sustainability and social justice. Debora is also a connector for Tomorrow Makers, introducing us to individuals and organizations where she sees opportunities for meaningful and mutually beneficial relationships. We got to know Debora through our work with the International Society for the Systems Sciences (ISSS), where she was serving as president. For the past three years, Debora has been coordinating the Northern California Earth Institute, an organization that nurtures community dialogue on themes relating to the environment and sustainable living. Her recent publication, The Science of Synthesis: Exploring the Social Implications of General Systems Theory, explores the history of systems thinking, including engineering, management, organismic biology, cybernetics, information, ecology and social theory.
